Beautiful ❤️ It sounds like you and Arjun were meant to meet to help each other heal. And it's so cool that you actually ended up at that retreat, but having had the Goa trip you had always wanted. I love those little winks.
Thank you, Ella. Yes I think you're right about both of these things - it's as if they were meant to happen. I was definitely pleased to visit Goa the way I always imagined ❤️
That's crazy that by chance you returned to the same resort your ex and you were thinking of staying at. Traveling is so weird because whenever I go on a trip, I always feel more connected to the spiritual side of myself--whatever that means. I just feel that weird things happen that you can't explain. One time I had a friend visit me here in Mexico from Spain, and we went to Guadalajara together. We took a tour with a group one morning, and she recognized one of the members of our group as someone she did a silent retreat with years earlier IN SPAIN. LIKE WTF? How does that happen? The odds are freaking astronomical that they'd be in the same city years later on the same day and go on the same tour. I'm agnostic, but stuff like that happening is a little too convenient to pass off as happening by mere chance. IDK, traveling is weird like that.
I know exactly what you mean, Tom! Serendipity seems to be stronger on the road. I once bumped into a colleague from London in an elevator in Kuala Lumpur. Completely random!
Just as expected, this is so beautifully written, Claire! I can't wait to read your next chapter!
That's lovely of you to say, Jordan! Really happy you liked it.

Lovely and bittersweet, Claire.
Thank you, Jeanine!
